Squid Skilla!!! will be debuting August 25 at BING Con!!! This guy was super fun to make using a lot of fun suggestions from friends and family on social media sites. As much fun as he was he was also a ton of work! I definitely had a lot more on my plate with this guy then I did with MOLT. Biggest reasons for that is the more involved color scheme and those ding dang suction cups! I did however get to hone my resin casting skills and I learned a lot about the whole process of making these things with this project. I will be posting a detailed process blog with pics of every step of the way very soon so stay tuned for that and for further announcement of when these will be available for sale online. Thanks for stopping by! here's some more images to wet your appetite!

Wassup yall it's PLEX! Just wanted to show yall what I was working on tonight. Basically this morning I was reading about sculpting and really wanted to get my hands into some sculpey. So as I was checking video subscriptions on YouTube I stumbled across KYZO's new speed art video of his character. I really dug the new character and thought I bet I could sculpt him. So that's what I did! First I started with a super simple shape with tin foil so as to not waist too much sculpey and also to use as a simple armature. Next I built a basic shape and boiled it for 2 minutes in a pot. Most people bake sculpey but it's a little known fact, from what I hear, that you can boil it as well... pssst and it's much quicker! So I continued on like that adding details, boiling, sanding, adding details, boiling sanding etc. till I came up with what you see to the above! This was just a for fun project and I'm hoping KYZO approves. Next I'll probably paint him or who knows maybe even make some resin casts if KYZO's interested. I think this guy could easily be a fun little DIY platform to paint. This character is about 2" x 2". You can check the whole collection of process pictures I took in the little photo gallery below. Enjoy! And let me know what you think!!! Thanks for stopping by!

In the late hours of night Glyf a lone graffiti writer searches the subway tunnels hoping to find a place to practice his street art. Little does he know he will be meeting up with his enemy in "The Terror of Tusk" Finally my first comic! I've been wanting to make comics for over 20 years and now i have finally finished the first in hopefully a long line of comics down the road. "Glyf and the Terror of Tusk" is a mini comic 6" x 5.5" containing 15 pages that are mostly black and white in a traditional action comic style. This comic is suitable for all ages with no profanity and mild comic book style action sequences. You can get your copy today at the Plex Hop Shop or on my Etsy Shop! Thanks for stopping by! Jen has a passion for Art Cards and has many high quality pieces up on her Etsy shop. I definitely recommend anyone to go check her stuff out! If you don't already know ATC's or ACEO's are small pieces of original or printed art that come in the standard size 2.5 x 3.5 which is the same as a baseball card. They are very addictive and fun to collect, create and trade and they can be made in any style or media you can think of as long as they fit the size requirement. We both enjoy street art so we did each others names in graffiti. Hope you like em. Thanks for stopping by!
